Located in the prestigious TradeWind neighborhood, East Wind has long been a favorite with our clients at Utila Vacation Rentals. When we remodeled this home we also built an overly large apartment on the ground floor including custom made cabinetry and granite countertops that for two years has been occupied by the same person. Upon their recent departure we have now been able to include it in our offerings.

Sitting on a sandy beach  with views to write home about, this is truly a delight for those that don't like to be cramped in a minimal apartment. This very spacious two bedroom unit has been designed to maximize the experience of living on the Caribbean with one of the two back to back seating areas dedicated to those that truly enjoy watching the sea lap the shore or crash into the rocks on the small island just off of the shore. The other seating area takes advantage of the Internet enabled Flat Screen where you can catch up on the latest news or just movies to entertain or enlighten.

Each of the two bedrooms flank the great room with a king size bed in one, and two beds in the other that can be put together for a second king, European style. There is also a dedicated third room that we have utilized as a game area featuring a dart board and a table and four chairs, ideal for playing gin rummy!  And, of course, onsite laundry facilities are available.

This wonderfully large apartment is more akin to a house than an apartment and would be idea for two couples that want to share an experience in the Caribbean in comfort. There is even a exterior living space that includes a barbecue pit, a dry bar, picnic table and outdoor chairs at your sole disposal; what a place to sit and watch the sea!
