This large, luxurious oceanfront home complete with a private pool is certainly one of the best waterfront rentals available on Utila. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms plus a half bath off of the living area, huge Great Room and private decks on two sides of the home, one with an infinity pool. This is where your family or close group wants to be to share each others company, yet have privacy when desired. This home is designed to sleep up to 8 persons.

 

One of the larger homes in Utila's TradeWinds neighborhood, and right on a sandy beach, looking across to the coral island. Sandy beach at your doorstep but just a short trip from town: about 5 minutes by scooter or tuk-tuk, 10 by bike, or 15–20 on foot. This is the convenience your holiday will appreciate.

Views across the Caribbean, with the mainland mountains to the south and Roatán to the east are seen from virtually anywhere in this unique home. Five decks include a large infinity-pool deck over the beach and a rooftop “margarita deck” with 360° island views. Tradewinds is the breezier side of the island, which helps with heat and mosquitoes.

Your views from Rocky Point are thanks to a thoughtful design that maximizes panoramic windows throughout.  You get sea views and surf sound from most rooms. The great room has 25-foot ceilings and an open kitchen with modern appliances. High-speed Wi-Fi throughout, a large-Internet ready flat screen TV, Bluetooth stereo, washer/dryer are at your disposal. Snorkeling and diving start off the beach in front of the house without a lengthy trip looking for a suitable place to put in. You're literally right on it!.

 

Rocky Point is removed from the hustle and bustle of Main Street to allow you to relax without undue noise from traffic, horns, or nightlife... however Utila's restaurants and nightlife are close enough enjoy within 15 minutes.

Please be aware that Rocky Point with it's elevated decks and private pool steps from the living area is NOT ideal for unattended toddlers or small children. If your family or group has little ones your are required to tend to them at all times.

Other things to note:
Electricity is expensive on Utila. The house has a digital meter. Included allowance is 70 kW per day. Usage above that is charged at 11.2 Honduran lempiras per kW and deducted from the security deposit.

Maximum occupancy is 8 people, including children — water/septic limits and neighborhood association rules.
